Chabad Aid is a non-profit organisation that supports financially struggling families and individuals by providing them with food and other goods. It is a Project of Chabad Lubavitch Centres N.E. London & Essex. Chabad Aid relies on fundraising in order to ensure adequate supplies are available to meet the needs of those requesting assistance and support.

Our mission and vision is to meet the growing needs caused by the ongoing cost of living crisis, by relieving hunger and the associated challenges and personal stress as a result.

We invest in our community's future.
From an idea to reality
The project began from the home of the Centre's Directors. They began by purchasing goods and preparing meals to help a small number of families in their community. This grew until all available space in their home was overtaken.
The project was moved to the Chabad Lubavitch Centre in Gants Hill, sharing its space with its wide and varied communal activities.
As a result of the project rapid growth additional help was needed and so the campaign to recruit volunteers began.

We rely primarily on our £20 A Month Club
With the £20 A Month Club we are able to purchase the necessary basic food requirements that we are unable to secure from supermarket donations thereby replacing the shortfall of required groceries.
Due to growing number of requests received by Chabad Aid, we urgently need to increase the number of monthly donors. Without these funds we cannot maintain the level of support to meet demand.
Charitable donations are essential to cover the purchase of additional provisions where sufficient suitable items are not sourced through supermarket collections and to underwrite some of our overhead costs to deliver the service.
